Bright Bursjön | 23-31 Oct, 2009 | Bright Bursjön, my submission for U.L.O (Unidentified Lighting Objects), featuring 25 designers, including fashion designer Nic Wong and Nathan Yong. U.L.O is organised by whenlightswork, a local lighting collective and IKEA, for archifest 2009. Bursjön is a companion stool/storage system that lights up to keep small children happy and comfortable at night.

A6 Future | 27 Sept, 2009 | London | A6, presented by Creative (Sin)ergy, showcases 22 UK and Singaporean illustrators collaborating on postcards about future questions e.g. how will people eat, what is the future of religion, and what should I wear to work tomorrow? I team up with Stephanie Hosmer and Ye Jingyi from London. Here are the two collaborations, on show at London Design Festival from 21-27 Sept 2009, at Idea Generation Gallery.

Futura-Psychedelica Ver. 1 + 2 | HP | 11-15 July, 2009 | I created some abstract drawings for Hewlett Packard's 'Touch The Future Now' campaign. Of a few that were created, one animated short was selected and projected onto the facade of Vivocity shopping mall in Singapore, which also featured four other local illustrators (Mindflyer, Brick, Ben Qwek and Ann Gee.
Marley Magpie (and the Search for the Shiniest Object) | 10 July, 2009 | Illustration for a paper book sample for Antalis, published and designed by Trine Design associates. This book features 8 local illustrators (Mindflyer, Xin, Ann gee, Drewscape, Fleecircus, Cherie tan and Adeline) and is the winner of the 2009 red dot communication design award.

'Move!' for Bishan Station, LTA-SMRT Circle Line Art, Singapore | May 28, 2009 | These 3 murals, measuring 7m x 2.4m each, were created for the Circle Line Art Project at Bishan station. This project was commissioned by LTA, and took two years and a half years to complete. Each mural comprises 16 glass panels, which were cast in film and fired in a glass production facility in Suzhou, China, before being delivered on site and individually mounted onto a steel hoarding with 3M structural tape by workers. Thank you Karen, Glen, Andrew, Boon Hwa, Hwee Lay, Mr Ho and Randy for your ready-assistance, hard work and support throughout the project.
